I stumbled upon this interesting collection of Music done by a band by the name of "8-Bit Instrumental".
They do instrumental renditions of all sorts of retro game titles from the consoles of yesteryear. Both Sega and Nintend'oh titles are covered, hitting up some great classics on both sides. For the most part they sound like mood music, something you'd hear in a Lounge somewhere.
